X Factor

The X Factor is back! Have you been watching??

I never get to watch the shows as I am always working and out singing myself on Saturday nights! But I have heard this year that there are some fantastic singers on there, have you seen them?

What a fab opportunity to get yourself on tele infront of thousands of watchers. I have been asked many times why I have not considered the X Factor. My answer is I always wanted to be a finished product, money pumped into me and be a fully fledged recording artiste before I was unleashed and displayed across televisions and arenas. I always have had that huge dream of being a massive star like Beyoncé! But I always wanted to audition and do it the ‘proper’ way. Someone to see me and catch a glimpse of my potential and work with me and push me to become a successful recording artist, not audition infront of thousands as just myself, Jenna but be the finished product already when you see me. Am I making sense?!

But on the other hand, how fab is X Factor! Great potential for young up and coming stars, but for me….reaching 27…..!!! I have tried over the years, especially when I was younger, to make it. And you realise through years of auditioning, just how many people are also trying to make it too! So much competition, so much talent, what makes you so special when there is BILLIONS of people so talented too! Its just one of those things, if your lucky enough to make it, you really are special. If you are unlucky, use what you have to your advantage and do what I have done, perform and sing to people at weddings and birthdays and corporate events. You are still singing and performing and I have enjoyed myself so much since I started singing covers.

Its just ‘one of those things’ 🙂
