I’m back!

Good morning every body!

I have just returned from a well deserved holiday and I thought what better way to kickstart my week by writing a new blog for you all to read!

My partner and I sunned ourselves in Portinatx, Ibiza for a week and then we travelled up to the Lake District to stay in a beautiful cottage for a further week with my parents. We decided to climb Scafell Pike and Hellvellyn…two absolutely brilliant climbs although my feet are now screaming at me for a nice massage and soak! It really feels like such a great achievement when you reach the summit and I have no doubt in my mind we will be returning to the Lakes next year for some more trekking. We visited Speedwell Cavern, The Peak Cavern, The White Scar Caves and several waterfalls in and around the Lakes. We also managed to visit around 5 of the lakes themselves, Windermere being my partners favourite where he enjoyed seeing all the fighter jets flying over us…he absolutely loves war planes and the majority of our photographs are of him trying to catch a good shot!

All in all a great break away, but I am looking forward to getting back into my gigs and performing for you all! On Friday 15th June I am performing at Marco’s Wine Bar in Rayleigh, so feel free to come down for a good dance…it really is always a good night in there and will hopefully see some familiar faces.
